Robert Burns: Banks of Cree

The latest Burns’ night poem
This is probably the 20th year we have produced poems or songs for Burns' night; sometimes it's a broadsheet, at other times a book or booklet. With our plan to move to Creetown, this poem seemed the most obvious piece. The river itself may be little more than 25 miles long, but the Cree is quite wonderful. We are looking forward to exploring its length, to find the banks that Burns wrote about in this charming song.
The type is all Scotch Roman from Monotype, and the bosky grove we expect to find in due course. Here it is a three colour acrylic engraving. The decorated paper is an original from Curwen Press; the paper for the text is handmade Khadi paper from India. There are 120 numbered copies.
